Handling a dispute in district court and mediation
A dispute is a legal matter where two or more parties disagree about their legal relationship. Disputes can be resolved either amicably or in district court. Lakiasiaintoimisto A&Co. Legal Oy represents clients in disputes professionally and with clear goals.
Mediation
We recommend mediation whenever possible. It is faster and more cost-effective than litigation. We help with mediation and confirming the settlement.
District court proceedings
If a settlement is not reached, the dispute is resolved in the district court. We draft the statement of claim, gather evidence and represent the client in hearings and the main hearing.
Court of appeal and Supreme Court
We help with appealing to the court of appeal and, if necessary, to the Supreme Court. Appeals require special expertise and strict deadlines.
Enforcement
A won lawsuit does not yet guarantee payment. We help with enforcing the judgment through bailiff proceedings.
