Divorce, reconsideration period and related legal matters
Divorce is a legal process where a marriage is dissolved. In Finland, divorce can be granted upon application after a reconsideration period. Reconsideration period
The first divorce application leads to a six-month reconsideration period, after which the divorce can be granted. If the spouses have lived apart for at least two years, the divorce can be granted immediately.
Division of assets and property
